The shooting and production of TV serials were put to a halt since 19th March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
But recently TV industry got approval from Maharashtra Government to resume shooting of the TV serials and shows but with all required precaution and under the given guidelines.
TV shows such as Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, Tujse Hai Raabata, Qurban Hua, Saregamapa Little Champs, etc. were about to start their shoot from 24th June 2020.
The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) and Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had also released a joint press release highlighting the points and the demands that need to be fulfilled by the producers of the show.
But today on 23 June 2020, CINTAA and FWICE decided to call off the shoots a day before just because their demands remained unfulfilled by IFTPC (Indian Film & TV Producers’ Council).
The demands that weren’t fulfilled by IFTPC are an 8-hours working shift and providing of insurance cover of Rs 50 Lakh for workers that includes Actors, Technicians & Other workers.
Thus CINTAA and FWICE decided to call of shooting of the TV serials and won’t resume.
This will be very bad news for all the fans of these TV shows who are missing it from the last 3 months. Fans still have to wait for more to watch the fresh episodes.
