Vijay TV’s music reality show Super Singer season 8 (2021) got a great start with their awesome top 20 contestants.
Super Singer 8 started it’s journey from 24th January 2021 with 9 hours long Grand Launch episode with performance of our contestants and the judges Anuradha SriRam, Unni Krishnan, Benny Dayal and Kalpana Raghavendar.
Now from the upcoming weekend, we will see the eliminations where the contestant with lowest score gets eliminated from the Super Singer 8.
On 25th-26th September 2021, we saw Grand Finale of Super Singer 8 with the top 6 finalists. It was followed by the winner announcement.
On 18th-19th September 2021, we saw last week’s wild card round results (2 wild card winners) followed by the Pre-Finals round with Top 6 finalists of Super Singer 8.
On 11th-12th September 2021, we saw eliminated contestants of Super Singer 8 got another chance in the Wild Card Round. Based on the public votes, 1 from them will directly join the contestants in the Finale.
Super Singer 8 Best Performer
On 5th September 2021, the Best Performer of the Week was Bharat.
On 29th August 2021, Muthusirpi became the first finalist of Super Singer 8 as well as the Best Performer of the Week.
On 22nd August 2021, for the first time we got 2 Best Performers of the Week. They are Muthusirpi and Anu.
Super Singer 8 Elimination Updates
On 26th September 2021, at the end of the Grand Finale, Sridhar Sena was announced as the winner of Super Singer 8. While Bharat was the 1st runner-up, Abhilash as the 2nd runner-up and Muthusirpi ended up with 4th place.
On 19th September 2021, at the end of the Wild Card Round, Sridhar Sena and Maanasi joined the contestants in Finale as wild card entries.
On 5th September 2021, at the end of the semi-final round, Adithya got eliminated from Super Singer 8 and we got our top 4 finalists of this season.

I don’t know why Adithya got eliminated? He is a very good singer. He should in finalist. Judges considered the face expression. But that is not important.

It is all money people. Money talks. The judges have been bought, try to read between the lines. You know some people had parents working in kollywood so the connections pay off.
The winner is already selected. The finalists are already selected. What is remaining s only the drama- So from now on let us enjoy the politics of SS8 than the singing. I guess the best songs are already done with and what we will hear from now on is mostly mashups and mixups in the name of ‘improvement’.
Maanasi is a unique voice- whether she gets back into the finals or not and from the reactions when ARR was present in the show, ARR might give her a chance out of the blue! Watch out for it
Adithya should be eliminated not Manasi. If the judgement is not based on music vocal criteria then no use to placing judges there. Totally wasting the real efforts and more into favoritism.

SHE SINGS REALLY MELODIOUSLY THAN ANU ANAND AND DESPITE IT WHY SHE GOT ELIMINITED IN THEE FINAL SELECTION. I TRUST THE JUDGES MISCARRIED IN THEIR JUDGEMENT OR THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF MAKING DUE JUSTIFICATION AND THE JUDGEMENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN AN IMPARTIAL ATTITUDE.
