Star Vijay TV started a Tamil singing reality show Super Singer season 8 (சூப்பர் சிங்கர் 2021). Here is the list of the top 20 contestants who got introduced at the Grand Launch of the show.
Super Singer 8 premiered the Grand Launch episode of 9 hours long on Sunday, 24th Jan 2021 from 11:00 AM.
At the Grand Launch of this show, we saw some special guests of music industry like Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Vijay Prakash, Sid Sriram, Saindhavi, Grace Karunas, Chinnaponnu, Vijay Yesudas, SPB Charan, Shashah Tripathy, Karthik, Antony Dasan, Gana Bala, Sakthi Sree Gopal and many more.
This time Super Singer for year 2021 will be judged by Anuradha SriRam, Unni Krishnan, Benny Dayal and Kalpana Raghavendar. While this 8th season will be host by MaKaPa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande.

Sridhar sena is a good singer, but this was already planned by Vijay TV, that’s the reason he got eliminated and taken back in wild-card round with sympathy of audience. Master plan by Vijay TV executed well through the elimination and wildcard. If he was not eliminated he would have got 2nd runner up or 3rd runner up. Anyway sympathy of people to select super singer than singing talent is not new for Vijay TV.
