Sony TV’s singing reality show Indian Idol 2020 (Season 12) reached it’s Greatest Grand Finale with the top 6 finalists.
During this entire journey we saw fantabulous singing of all the contestants of Indian Idol 12.
There were total 15 singers who got selected from the audition round. At the end, now we have top 6 finalists left and from them we will get the winner of Indian Idol 2020.
At the Greatest Finale Ever of Indian Idol, we will see singing performances of the past seasons winners of Indian Idol as well as many popular singers of Bollywood industry i.e. Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Sukhwinder Singh, and many more.

It seems that everything was pre decided.The channel had already decided to make Pawan deep Rajan this year’s Indian Idol.
Dayalu Kamble and Arunita were better better singers.
Actually Arunita’s voice was very sweet.I am shocked when Her name was not declared.My blessings for her, definitely she will be agreat playback singer one day.
this is not fair only the winner got 25rs but the 2nd and 3rd winner does’nt get any prize or rs.
1st and 2nd runner ups got 5lakhs.
4th and 5th got 3 lakhs.
Each member got their cash.
This is not fair to other winners, who does not come in the picture one’s the winner is announced, neither the price money was announced to other 5.
It’s been noted that Sony for some reason always ended their such shows very abruptly, which is actually quite annoying.
Votes are not handcounted. The votes are recorded directly into data base. Results are available in real time. Unlike earlier, when SMS votes from each service provider had to be collated. There was a lag between actual vote by the viewer and the vote count reaching the channel from the telecom service provider. Which was anywhere between 10 mins to 1 hour. Which is not so any longer.
Arunita hard luck for you, you deserved the title.
Satisfied with the result. The winning line-up 100% matched with my guess. After a long time justice has been done. Thanks to all the judges, channel and co-decision maker.
Why Runner ups of Indian idol didn’t get any amount of cheque.. even when they all are finalists.. especially arunita also didn’t get any amount aftr win 1st place of runner up.. arunita also a tough competitor & strong singer of an Indian idol.. its really very wrong done with all runner ups especially with arunita kanjilal
