  1. I will not be watching this year simply because it is not on one of the major channels. I do not have the Disney channel. I have watched it every year since it has been on but the last few years has not had too many well known professionals (at least for the older audience,)

  2. To bad that they still have Tyra Banks as one of the MC’s. She walks out from behind a curtain and she struts around like any of us care. Her clothes are hideous for the most part or at least they don’t look good on her. She acts like she’s never been in front of camares because of the way she try’s to sound like she’s in charge, but thank goodness she’s not. You need to get another host or just let Alfonzo take over. He’s quick, he’s funny and is much more relatable.

  3. I am upset about the move to Disney +. I have watched every season and, like the above commentaries, I am also retired and on fixed income. Cable is already too high and we cannot afford to add more cost just to watch one show that we truly love. Please bring the show back to ABC.

  4. I’m another former fan of DWTS, that doesn’t subscribe to Disney Plus. Cable is already so high, like many of the other comments, I can’t seeing paying more while on a fixed income. Very disappointed about the move and just add me to the list who will no longer be tuning into the program.

  5. I have been a faithful watcher of DWTS since it started and are very mad that it is only available on Disney+ channel. A good portion of your audience are seniors on small pensions and got a lot of pleasure from this show and can not afford to subscribe to this channel with the cost of all essentials constantly going up but not our pension cheques. You certainly did not read the demograph of your audience very well and return it to ABC if they will have you!!!!

  6. Very upset that I can’t watch my favorite show DWTS. We already pay too much for cable to watch TV and now they want to charge to watch this show. Just another disappointment of everything that’s happened in the last two years.

  7. Many people are upset and not watching because they don’t have Disney plus.
I’m lucky to be able to watch DWTS
    But many won’t be watching
I hope this doesn’t hurt the show because I like DWTS and don’t want the ratings to be low and it may get cancelled.
I have a feeling this may happen. Why does ABC ruin a good show by changing the station?
Good choice in having Alfonso on as a host.
    He is great !

      • Football. Seems there is more viewers for football. I’m not one of them. We are on SS and only use an antenna for TV viewing. When you think about it, 1/3 of the cost for viewing whether you subscribe to cable or satellite, is for commercials. 30 minute shows have at least 9 or 10 minutes devoted to ads and 60 minute shows use 17 to 20 minutes for ads. Back in the day when it all started was 4 minutes per 30 minutes and 8 minutes per 60 minutes. I don’t really believe the outcomes of reality shows and home voting is honest. As a viewer, how do you know how the audience votes. I look at it as a joke. Too easy to rig voting outcomes. I think one of the biggest offenders is America’s Got Talent. Totally rigged and a joke to the viewing audience.

    • Agree 100%. I don’t have Disney+, nor do I want it. So I’m missing DWTS for the first time ever. I hope they regret this decision.
