American Idol 2023 Eligibility Requirements
Age: You must be at least 15 years old i.e. born on or between June 2, 1993 and September 15, 2007. If you were born before or after this window, you are not eligible to participate on the 21st season of American Idol (Season 6 on ABC)
Resident: You must be a legal U.S. resident with the unrestricted right to work in the United States or have employment authorization in the United States.
Previous Participants: You are not eligible if you competed in any of the previous season of American Idol and placed first in the competition.
Documents: You must accurately complete all documents provided by Producer, any of the other Program Entities or any other entity providing services to the Program.

I imagine it is too late to audition for 2023 at this time. Will auditions begin again in August for 2024? I have always wanted to auditions but have been scared or busy with nursing school but everyone I know has been encouraging me to audition and now I’ve been settled as a nurse and figured I should give it a shot.
