All the interested contestants can participate in the American Idol season 20.

American Idol Eligibility Requirements
Age: You must be at least 15 years old i.e. born on or between June 2, 1992 and September 15, 2006. If you were born before or after this window, you are not eligible to participate on the 5th season of American Idol.
Resident: You must be a legal U.S. resident with the unrestricted right to work in the United States or have employment authorization in the United States.
Previous Participants: You are not eligible if you competed in any of the previous season of American Idol.
Documents: You must accurately complete all documents provided by Producer, any of the other Program Entities or any other entity providing services to the Program.
NOTE: You may sign up for any audition date and not just the date for the state in which
You reside, provided that you may not sign up more than once per audition date.

Hello Kiera; Say there is a way to do it in person! Yes, so with thee auditions they have them a”year” prior to the show’s release on television 📺 and sorry to say we’ve both missed it for the audition date was last year for the year 2022.
But with that said plenty of time to get your wonderful voice mature more and who knows maybe I’ll see you in 2023…for those the auditions will be this year some time. Any other questions just ask, I’m an open book 📖!

So…Kiera this is when they did the auditions for this year of 2022 …we MN WERE THE 10th State they visited on August 25, 2021 along with Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
